How to Set-up Fire HD Tablets in Show Mode?

Recently, Amazon launched a new mode for Fire tabs, it is Show Mode and Dock. It will help you to turn your Fire HD 10 or Fire HD 8 into an Echo Show device. Even, it also comes with some advanced features that you would expect from an Echo device, including changing the wake word. How to Use Fire HD Tablets in Show Mode

You need to go in the Alexa app to change Alexa’s wake word on other Echo devices. Through the Fire HD tablet, you can change it directly by moving the tablet Settings section.

       On the next screen, you will get the option “Wake Word” on the menu — click on it.

The ESP setting is more comfortable if you have more than one Alexa device within earshot with the same wake word. It’s meant to have the Alexa device that’s nearest to you to reply first. But you might want to turn it on or off depending on the room acoustics and device placement to check which performs best as per your preference.
