Here is the List of the World’s Riskiest Passwords: Make Sure You Are Not Using Them

Passwords are the most critical and risky things which are always at a risk of being hacked. People find it easy to make a password as simple as possible so that they don’t have to remember while using it again, and here you are wrong and making an easy point of entry into your privacy.


Most of you may be using passwords for internet banking with your phone, your e-mail, and social media, but if you are asked which are the most dangerous passwords in the world, you may not be able to tell. Dangerous passwords mean passwords that most people use. These passwords are being used so much today that everyone knows about them. A security firm has released a list of 10 dangerous passwords. Most of us are surely using any one or more than one in the list in our social media.

Britain’s National Cyber Security Centre has released a list of the most commonly used passwords in the last 12 months. The Centre, in its report, said that most people use general passwords to make them easier to remember, but it is not good for your security. Such passwords are being used very much all over the world. In that case, you should not use them.

Dr Ian Levy, technical director of the UK’s National Cyber Security Centre on Cyber Security, said, “We understand that cybersecurity is a tough task for many people, but the NCSC has given some advice to make you safe. Multiple or reuse of the same password is a big risk that you can avoid. Never have a password that can be inferred. ‘

List of the riskiest passwords:

  • 123456 We all are once in a lifetime used this as it is simple and easily remembered and here came the hackers, not even professional if someone doesn’t like you, he or she will also try this to spy on you, so please change it as ASAP to make yourself secure.

  • 123456789 This is also an extension of the numbers available on the keyboard. We’ll simply type all of them and make another easy password combination which is now the most used and dangerous password.

  • Qwerty, yes, our keyboard is also on the list of unsafe passwords, as we find it easy to remember. Hackers also find it easy to hack and hence make it the riskiest password. Change it now if you are using it anywhere.

  • Password, Now when nothing is left, and people show how smart they are while making the most critical thing, i.e., the password yes, they make password their password, what to say for this level of smartness.

  • 111111, now this is also another example of simple and risky passwords. Yes, it is easy to remember, but what about the risk which came with the ease of making a password like this? Don’t do this with you any account. Change it if you are also using it.

  • 12345678, numbers and letters combos are the easiest passwords, and we make them just because they are easy, but here it is not about how easy you can make your password. It is about how strong you make your password so that no one can hack your personal and professional details.

  • 1234567 this is numeric and another risky password. This one is strange, but it is also in the list of risky passwords, so if you are using this, please change it with a strong one so that you are safe from hackers.

  • 12345, the last one is numeric and small, which makes it another easily hacked one

Normally the suggestions are given by the system for strong passwords, but they are the strongest, and normal people don’t remember them and choose an easy one, but here also you can select a strong one. Passwords are the key to your world, and by choosing an easy one, you are choosing risk, and maybe you don’t realize it now, but when something bad happens then, you’ll surely going to regret your decision.
